Rev. Allison Smith was born and raised in the Hummelstown area, attended Lower Dauphin schools and grew up worshipping at Derry Presbyterian Church. After graduating from Mansfield University with a degree in Music Education, Allison worked as an elementary music teacher at Steelton-Highspire Elementary School. During her time as a teacher, Allison responded to a call to ministry and began studies at Lancaster Theological Seminary where she graduated with her M. Div. in May of 2016.
Allison was called to the shared ministry of Hope United Presbyterian Church, Dauphin and Faith Presbyterian Church, Lower Paxton in April of 2017 following her ordination. Under her leadership, the congregations of the former Progress-Immanuel and Faith churches merged to create Faith Immanuel Presbyterian Church, which she continues to pastor as part of her shared ministry in Dauphin County. As a pastor, Allison is an enthusiastic worship leader, who is dedicated to cultivating fellowship and community as the Church works for reconciliation.
She resides in Lower Paxton Township with her husband Conrad Smith. They are expecting their first child in the summer of 2021. In her free time, she enjoys disc golfing with the Creekside Crawdads, hiking and camping, road trips, sewing, and yoga.

Debbie joined the staff of Faith Church in 1996. As part of a life dedicating to feeding and caring for others, her working life began by scooping ice cream at Harrisburg Dairies, now 3 B’s, in Duncannon. She would later work in the billing department at Harrisburg Hospital before taking time off to raise her son. A temp position with Manpower brought her to our church, and she has faithfully fed and cared for our congregation ever since. In addition to her administrative responsibilities in the office, Debbie has managed and cooked for our monthly Wednesday Faithful luncheons for many years which were only interrupted by the current pandemic.
Debbie is a member of Middle Cove Bible Church in Duncannon, and she has been married to her husband Rich for 41 years. She has a son, daughter-in-law, and “granddog” who live nearby in Harrisburg. Debbie loves to cook and bake, and her family says she would feed the whole world if she could figure out a way to do it! She loves to draw and paint and being outside in nature makes her happy.
Favorite Bible Verse: Colossians 3:23 – 24 “Whatever your task, put yourselves into it, as done for the Lord and not for your masters, since you know that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward; you serve the Lord Christ.”
Carolyn joined the staff of Progress-Immanuel Church in 2008 as their administrative assistant/financial secretary. Prior to this she has worked as an elementary school teacher, an adult basic education teacher, homeschool teacher, and as treasurer for several organizations. She is a graduate of Messiah College with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Minor in Music.
Carolyn is married to the Rev. Dr. Frank Frischkorn, who is the Regional Executive Pastor for the American Baptist Churches of Pennsylvania and Delaware. They are members of West Shore Baptist Church, Camp Hill, where Carolyn is a Community Group Leader, and have two adult daughters and a sheepadoodle. Together Carolyn and her husband enjoy traveling, time with family, summers by the pool or beach, and scrapbooking. Carolyn also serves as Treasurer for the Academy of Christian Training and Services.

Caleb joined the staff of Faith Church in 2013. Since that time, he has lead various choirs and bell choirs, and he has also been involved with committee life and web-development. Caleb works full time in music, dividing his time between performances, church work, and teaching. He also currently serves as Organist for First United Methodist Church, Mechanicsburg, and he recently completed a short-term assignment as Temporary Director of Music at Camp Hill Presbyterian Church. In 2019 Caleb created Concerts on Colonial: A Donald and Dorothy Stabler Memorial Series with the purpose of providing the broadest possible constituency of the greater Harrisburg community with access to high-quality classical music regardless of their ability to pay.
Caleb holds a Bachelor of Arts in music from Lebanon Valley College with a concentration in piano. To date he has given performances as a soloist, accompanist, and chamber musician throughout the region, on the East Coast, and in France, Germany, and Lithuania.

Joe joined the staff of Faith Church in June of 2013. Prior to this, Joe worked as a carpenter for over fifteen years and is a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, did maintenance work for over ten years, and has been doing lawnmowing “forever”! He is married to his wife, Jenny, for 33 years, and they share their lives and home with their nephew William who they actively raised. His interests include lawn mowing, gardening, and tinkering around the house.
Favorite Bible Verse: Psalm 31:14 “But I trust in you, LORD; I say, ‘You are my God.’” Sam Shallcross was a lifelong member of Progress-Immanuel Presbyterian Church. He is a member of the Worship Committee and faithfully lends his audio engineering expertise as he runs sound for our many in-person and livestreamed worship services and special events. He is retired from the Department of Revenue after 35 years of service and now works as a part-time shuttle drive for Fred Bean Ford/Kia for over two years. His lovely wife Karen transferred her membership to Faith Immanuel in late 2018. They have been married for more than 35 years, and together they enjoy football, hockey, golf, and trains. Sam has also played the trombone for many years including in the CD East High School Band.
